These NEW HD rear bearing housings are made in America from American-sourced alloy steel, which is much stronger than the stock cast steel of the original parts. Strength and fit are much better than similar looking Chinese-sourced housings being sold elsewhere. Ours have about 20% more material around the bearing to help prevent the wallowing out of the bore, which is a common occurrence with the stock parts. The new housings also feature greater material thickness around critical areas of the housing and improved design for bearing removal and tool access.
