While it's common for CV hardware to be reused, there's something really nice about installing all new hardware during an installation.
This is a kit of all of our best CV bits minus the boots (in case you want to use your own)-
- Heavy Duty 100mm CV Joint
- (3) Load Distribution Plates
- (4) Axle Circlips
- (6) CV Bolts (choose standard CV bolts or 12pt CV bolts)
- (6) CV Washers

** Note 1 - These CVs fit factory Vanagon axles (and other 33-spline axles) perfectly. If you have aftermarket axle shafts, be aware that some of them have spines that are too tall. If you find this to be the case, you can simply grind/file/sand the tips of the splines a bit to allow the CVs to slide on easily.
** Note 2 - Some aftermarket axle shafts have a diameter that is too small to fit these CVs. Some are 33-spline and others are 25-spline. If you have either of these aftermarket axles shafts, you will need to find a set of factory VW axles or an equivalent aftermarket axle shaft.
